I also have Waiting for the Fear on my shelf, and reading the bit of Emre’s intro here hooked me - i think i want to read that soon!! i’ve also never heard of Texas: The Great Theft before, and it sounds so intriguing. all of these seem like amazing reads though!
Hm. Three VERY different-sounding books. I chose Texas because it sounds like a relevant novel. I'm most curious, however, about Waiting for the Fear. I love the description of the author.

Thanks, Isabella! I agree that all of these sound really interesting. I'm excited to read whichever wins the poll, and eventually to get to them all.
Texas is a wildly fun book! (Haven’t read the other two)
Thanks, Justin! I'm glad to hear it. I look forward to reading Texas if it wins (and eventually if it doesn't).
I've never thought of a book roundup based on their intros, and I love this concept!
Thanks! I thought it would be fun and unusual.
It is!
“my neighborhood bookstore/wallet vacuum” 😂😂😂
Ha! It's so true!
Truly. Bookstores are so dangerous!

Thanks! Yes, very different books. I'm excited to see which direction folks want me to go. Seems like we're leaning toward Texas.
Looking forward to all thew reviews. I haven't seen any of them before
Thanks, Resh!
