Here are some highlights to honor our six years of existence
It’s hard to believe Books on GIF has been around since May 8, 2016.1 Where does the time go? In honor of our birthday we thought we’d share some highlights from the past five years.
The New York Review of Books Classics imprint wished BoG a happy birthday in 2018:
Min Jin Lee said BoG was ‘super awesome’:2
Esquire magazine listed us as one of the ‘The 10 Best Internet Newsletters’ and said ‘Books on GIF is a brilliant high-low fusion of an old art form and modern story telling device.’ I was nearly in tears when I read this for the first time, standing in the Barnes & Noble in Midtown Manhattan. I made a copy and shrunk it down to fit in a little frame on my desk:
